FINDING A PUBLISHER
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK AS AN INDIE GAME STUDIO/DEVELOPER?
Go to Indie Game Pitch, click on "Post a game" and fill in the form.
We will thoroughly analyze your game on its potential. Unfortunately, we cannot accept all games yet. Else, our portfolio would be too big and we would not be able to actively promote your game.
If your game passes our selection criteria, we will personally contact you to discuss the next steps.
We will actively reach out to video game publishers showcasing your game.
In case of a "match", you will be contacted by us.
If you sign a publishing deal, we will take a 5% cut on the gross revenues of YOUR share after the game releases (e.g. We negotiate a 60/40% split in your favor, we will take 5% from your share resulting in a 55/40/5% revenue share).
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK AS A VIDEO GAME PUBLISHER?
We will get you in contact with the indie game studio/developer and help to guide the conversation.
In case of an agreement, you (video game publisher) pay a signing fee to us (Oro Interactive) of 5% of the money given to fund the game.
AS A VIDEO GAME PUBLISHER, CAN'T I JUST CONTACT THE INDIE GAME STUDIO/ DEVELOPER DIRECTLY AND SKIP THE FEE?
No. All games added to the portfolio sign a contract clearly stating that in case a video game publisher contacts the indie game studio/developer directly, Oro Interactive must be alerted and included in the negotiations.
WHAT IF YOU DON'T FIND A VIDEO GAME PUBLISHER FOR MY GAME?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your game will be matched with a video game publisher. We as Oro Interactive will do everything within our power to find a match but we can never guarantee a 100% success rate. We can only improve the chances of you finding a video game publisher.
Helping out (indie) game studios in finding the perfect publisher has always been a dream for us at Oro Interactive. We're so glad we can finally turn this into reality.
Our goal is to find a potential partner for every game out there because every game is a piece of art and deserves to be seen (and played).
Let's make it happen, together!
